说明(ming)：Sorbitol has been used in isoelectric focusing to help minimize endoosmotic flow in agarose gels and has been found to improve protein solubility of focused proteins. Sorbitol has also been advocated to improve mechanical stability, improve wall adherence of the gel to the glass tube, and reduce pH gradient drift. Sorbitol is usually used at a concentration of 10-12.5%.
