链(lian)霉蛋(dan)白酶是从链(lian)球菌（Streptomyces griseus）中分离到的一(yi)种丝氨酸(suan)酶和酸(suan)性蛋(dan)白酶的混合物。
自消化可消除DNA酶和RNA酶的污染，经自消化的链酶蛋白酶的配制方法如下：把该酶的粉末溶解于10mmol./l Tris?HCl(pH7.5)、10mmol/l NaCl中，配成20mg/ml浓度，于37℃温育1h。经消(xiao)化的链霉蛋白酶(mei)分装成小份放在密封(feng)试管(guan)中。

说明：This product is a mixture of at least three caseinolytic activities and one aminopeptidase activity. The caseinolytic enzymes were named as Streptomyces griseus Protease A, Streptomyces griseus Protease B
and Streptomyces griseus Trypsin. The protease is typically used in nucleic acid isolation procedures in incubations of 0.5-3.0 hours supplemented with 0.2% sodium dodecyl sulfate and 10 mM EDTA. One unit will hydrolyze casein to produce color equivalent to 1.0 μmole
